Objective: This study aims to analyze the occurrence, diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke in young patients, focusing on strategies for early identification and effective management of the condition. Methodology: A narrative review of recent scientific literature and an analysis of clinical cases of stroke in young people were carried out. The review included evaluation of diagnostic methods, therapeutic options and treatment protocols adopted to improve clinical outcomes. Results: The research identified that stroke in young people often presents diagnostic challenges due to its lower prevalence and atypical presentation. Treatment involves a combination of thrombolytic therapy, risk factor management and early rehabilitation. Adherence to specific
protocols can significantly improve the prognosis. Discussion: Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential to minimize the sequelae of stroke in young people. The difficulty in rapid identification and the lack of consensus on the ideal treatment can negatively impact outcomes. Monitoring strategies and early interventions are recommended to optimize management of the condition. Conclusion: A multidisciplinary approach and personalization of treatment are fundamental for the effective management of stroke in young people. Early detection and implementation of appropriate therapeutic strategies are crucial to improving patients' recovery and quality of life.
