Acute ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) is a critical condition requiring immediate intervention to prevent severe complications. Pharmacological therapy and percutaneous interventions are central to STEMI management. This article reviews current strategies, including the use of antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, beta- blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs), and statins, as well as primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The review also addresses current challenges and gaps in clinical practice, highlighting the need for further research to optimize treatment.
